  After last year's sell out performance of Swan Lake, the Russian State Ballet and Opera House are back with a ballet classic for the whole family. Join us for an unforgettable journey in the run-up to Christmas and be part as the magic unfolds. Featuring timeless score from incredible composer Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky, Nutcracker is a certified Russian classic, replete with evocative music and beautiful dance. The Christmas story is based on "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" written by E.T.A. Hoffmann. It tells the story of Marie, a rather sad little girl, whose godfather Drosselmeier gives her a Nutcracker doll as a present on Christmas Eve which turns into a prince and the magic starts… The Nutcracker became of Tchaikovsky’s most famous compositions, and perhaps the most popular ballet in the world.
