Box office opening
hours
The box office is open Monday to
Saturday 10am to 5pm or until 15 minutes after curtain up on
performance nights. Please be patient when phoning the box office
during busy periods (for example around show times) as calls are
answered in strict rotation. For shows on Sundays and Bank
Holidays, the Box Office will open 45 minutes before
curtain-up.
Doors open
Doors open 30 minutes before curtain up. The licensed bar is
open before performances, and interval drinks can be ordered before
the performance.
Note - seating in The Central Theatre’s Cellar Bar not guaranteed
for busy shows.
Booking by credit/debit
card
Phone the box office. Tickets can be posted to you on the same
day for a £1.00 charge or kept at the box office for
collection on the day. You can also go book online at http://www.medwayticketslive.co.uk/.
Postal bookings
When booking by post, please enclose a stamped addressed
envelope so that tickets can be forwarded to you. Cheques should be
made payable to Medway Council. Please print your name, address,
daytime phone number and cheque card number on the reverse.
Delivery
There are no hidden charges for booking
online. We do not charge commission on any of our tickets. However
we do make the same nominal charge for posting tickets out to
online customers. This charge is the same Online as it is for
telephone or postal bookers.
CoBO - If you select the CoBO (Care of
Box Office) option when making your order, then your tickets will
be held at the box office for collection on the night. Should you
find yourself in either theatre before the date of the show that
you have booked for, and the box office is open, then the staff
will happily print your tickets off for you there and then.
Postage
Should you prefer to have your tickets sent
out to you, then please select the Postage option when making your
order. The Postage charge is a flat rate of just £1.00. Your
tickets will be posted out to you on the first working day after
your booking was made and will be sent 2nd class. We ask
that you allow at least a week for your tickets to arrive before
contacting the box office.
Lost Tickets
If your tickets are lost, please contact us
during office hours on 01634 338338 and we will arrange for
duplicate tickets to be held for collection on the night. We do not
issue or send out duplicate tickets in advance of a performance.
Any duplicate tickets issued can only be picked up, on arrival,
within one hour of the start of the performance. Tickets for
events in venues other than the theatres maybe subject to different
terms and you will need to contact the Box Office Manager (01634
338338). Duplicate tickets will NOT be issued for Castle
Concerts.
Reservations
Tickets must be paid for in person, by phone, credit card or by
post within three days of reservation or 30 minutes before curtain
up, whichever is the sooner. Seats not paid for after this time
will be released. Tickets cannot be reserved for some events in
venues other than the theatres.
Exchange and resale of tickets
Tickets should be considered nonexchangeable and nonrefundable
and we advise customers to check their tickets upon receipt. When a
show has more than one performance, tickets may be exchanged from
one performance to another. Unwanted tickets may be left with the
box office for resale but The Central and Brook Theatres cannot
guarantee their sale and will only offer them for resale once all
of the theatre’s own seats have been sold. There is an
administration charge of £1 per ticket for each of these
services.
