Welcome to a thriving arts centre in the heart of

Formerly Chatham Town Hall, stunning Victorian architecture
provides an unforgettable backdrop for professional theatre and
community productions at The Brook Theatre. Also starring centre
stage is the irreverent and controversial Medway Comedy Club,
jazz and folk evenings, dance performances and Studio Showcase
evening – intimate performances in our smaller studio theatre, next
to the main auditorium.
We also offer:

- fun workshops for under 18s throughout the holidays;

Developing talent
We are also home to a small number of professional performing arts
companies - emerging organisations hand-picked to benefit from
having a permanent base. Medway audiences then get to be the first
to experience exciting new work, before it’s toured regionally and
nationally.
